A look back at the artist residencies at the Bridderhaus in 2024
The year 2024 was marked by a series of exceptional artist residencies, where creators forged stimulating links between their works and the architectural, social and cultural realities of the city.
The two themes that guided these residencies were Playtime and Vernacular Spectacular. Playtime explored the influence that an artistic project can have on the architecture and urbanity of a city, while Vernacular Spectacular highlighted the specificities local and the particularities of urban architecture.
All this research will be presented at the Bridderhaus on March 1st from 2 p.m. On the program: restitutions of residencies, performances, conference and interactive workshop, offering the opportunity to discover and discuss the projects that have marked 2024. But at -beyond looking back on last year's projects, this event also looks to the future. With a "fast forward" approach, it focuses on future dynamics by inviting new artists and institutions.
