Economist by training, former politician, Philippe Defeyt has taught at UNamur and UCLouvain. He now heads the Institute for Sustainable Development, which aims, among other things, to promote an alternative societal model. Aging where I want to live. The aging of the population is a topic that concerns Mr. Defeyt; what place do the elderly have? Everyone has the right to choose their accommodation, taking into account what suits them best, and it is essential that society makes this choice possible. For this, it is necessary to better understand the preferences of seniors. Inquiry could be conducted at neighborhood levels within municipalities.
