"Dans les âmes et les urnes" is the new book by Vincent Jarousseau published by Arènes. It's always a significant event for us... following him since 2017! With great admiration for his work, his way of approaching the people he interviews, and his way of weaving links... This time, he puts down his camera and works solo to reflect on his last ten years: "Ten years meeting France that votes RN". He certainly has enough material! One can imagine the number of notes accumulated from his encounters and the territories he traveled to try to understand, to analyze how the ideas advocated by the Rassemblement National have taken root.
"I wanted to narrate them, see them at home, in their cities and villages, to understand how a party descended from the Vichy regime and the OAS of the insurgent generals in Algeria could be appealing to an ever-growing section of our citizens."
