In 2014, jazz critic Nicolas Beniès wrote: "At the Liberation, in 1944, jazz was everywhere. It was freedom, and freedom was on everyone's lips. It captured the spirit of the times to accompany the upheavals underway. It seduced young people and expressed the desire for another world."
In March 2025, on the occasion of the 2nd edition of Politéïa, the Hot Swing Orchestra will return to stroll through the city, accompanying the audience with music to the various festival venues.
