Forced to withdraw from the world by Iranian authorities, Ali Asgari enters a period of intense introspection. By questioning the nature of family, censorship, language, and memory, Asgari uses his experience of house arrest to contemplate the role of the artist and the possibilities of cinema. An autobiographical essay that approaches the documentary genre with as much lyricism as self-reference. Made in Tehran during 9 days of isolation, Ali Asgari's response to government censorship constraints provides a sophisticated and monochromatic meditation on the nature of art.
