A poet and filmmaker now aged, Gaston Rollinger lives alone in his childhood home, set in an astonishing landscape, a very particular place where industrial remnants meet wild nature in Esch-sur-Alzette. He draws all his inspiration from these places and reveals many secrets to Fränz Hausemer, although some of his landmarks are slowly disappearing. This portrait of a unique man is intertwined with captivating pieces, whose outlines draw from the poetry of Rollinger. An astonishing and moving exploration of a poet and topographer's work, this musical documentary harmonizes with the spirit of Gaston Rollinger. Between past and present, it sketches the portrait of an indomitable artist, a lover of a territory he has traversed all his life.
