Film Debate: I Don't Want to Go Anymore, Mom
At the initiative of Mots&Débats and in the presence of filmmaker Antonio Fischetti, journalist at Charlie Hebdo, Agathe André, and Laure Daussy.
I am a journalist at Charlie, and on January 7, 2015, I escaped the attack by the grace of a series of bizarre circumstances. Once the shockwave had passed, introspection imposed itself on me to give meaning to my life fragmented by this tragedy. Among all my murdered colleagues, I was particularly close to Elsa Cayat, the quirky psychoanalyst who had a column in the newspaper. We even started a film together in the form of interviews. Guided by the reminiscences of Elsa's words, I revisit my story and the reasons for my commitment to Charlie. My film is a quest that is both sensitive and offbeat, questioning the power of images and the crux of the word freedom.
