Jasmine, a Neapolitan hairdresser in her forties, seems to have it all: a devoted husband, three sons, and her own hair salon. However, after her father's death, she is haunted by a recurring dream that creates an intense desire in her to have a daughter. The second fiction feature by the duo Alessandro Cassigoli and Casey Kauffman, this intimate epic is all the more disturbing as it traces the real experience of a family... played by themselves. Filmed close-up to the faces of the protagonists, in an almost documentary approach and in the urgency of editing, Vittoria totally embraces the visceral desire of its heroine.
