One day, at a pedestrian crossing, Minoo starts flirting with Keyvan, whom she does not know. They soon become very close. On her side, Minoo's mother, Sima, is tired of her marriage with Behzad, a relatively secretive man whose wanderings we gradually discover. The gap between the adults widens while the two young people experience the first moments of a charming relationship. Spanning over a week, Boomerang subtly weaves into a network of intrafamilial relationships, unspoken truths, and mundane yet fascinating confrontations. At the same time, it sketches a unique portrait of Tehran, between a dying world and the brightness of the new generation.
