Poet and filmmaker now aged, Gaston Rollinger lives in solitude in his childhood home in Esch-sur-Alzette, a unique place where industrial remains and wild nature intersect. He derives all his inspiration from these places and shares many secrets with Fränz Hausemer. Unfortunately, some of his familiar landmarks are gradually disappearing.
This portrait of a singular man is interwoven with captivating pieces inspired by Rollinger's poetry. This musical documentary offers a surprising and moving exploration of the work of a poet and topographer, aligning with the spirit of Gaston Rollinger. Between past and present, it draws the portrait of an indomitable artist, in love with a territory he has explored all his life.
