Wang Bing, 152 min, 2024 - France, Luxembourg, Netherlands. As New Year's approaches, the textile workshops in Zhili are almost deserted. The few workers remaining struggle to get paid before leaving. From the banks of the Yangtze to the mountains of Yunnan, everyone returns to celebrate the New Year in their hometown.
