With her poetic and conscious lyrics, denoting a personality on edge and in love with beauty, French singer Léonie Pernet had already opened a breach in 2018 when her first album “Crave” attracted the attention of the international press. If her debut had the sensual quality of Warpaint's indie, her latest album “Le Cirque de la Consolation” was an opportunity to test a mix of sounds and rhythms inherited from African traditions, neo-classical and French-speaking electro-pop from the 80s. Her third opus “Poèmes pulvérisés”, scheduled for spring 2025, should make the hearts of fans of French-speaking pop explode, whose lyrics resonate like literature.
