On “OSMIN” (2024), the young French artist Zinée develops her world of melancholic rap, where her voice evokes the mixture of fragility and determination of a Billie Eillish. But a Billie Eillish who would have evolved in the barbecues between friends of the 18th arrondissement of Paris. Often an expression of a certain existential claustrophobia, her lyrics reflect a youth that alternates between the need for self-protection and self-affirmation; an exercise in honesty that led her to collaborate with the collective 75e Session, known for its work with artists such as Georgio or Nekfeu. In addition, a certain Chilly Gonzales provides the piano production of her latest single “MEZZEL”, released in 2024…
