House dance is a social dance to house music, combining salsa, capoeira, tap-dance, bboying, etc. It emerged in the 1970s and 1980s in Chicago and New York clubs. The house dance we practice is improvised and emphasizes quick and complex steps, rebounds, and floor work.
INITIATION TO HOUSE DANCE WITH DIMEY:
19:30 – 20:30
Learn the basics of house dance with Dimey, a renowned dancer and educator from the Grand Est region. Suitable for all levels and beginners.
OPEN FLOOR: HOUSE DANCE:
20:30 – 22:00
Open Floor: House Dance is a dance jam where you can dance freely to house music. It's a "safe space" where amateurs and professionals meet and share a friendly moment together, sometimes with a DJ. Suitable for all levels.
