"Messiah" by Handel was first performed at a major benefit concert in Dublin on April 13, 1742, and was enthusiastically received by the audience. The composer impressed with a groundbreaking work that remains one of the most famous and popular pieces in music literature to this day. The work owes its greatness to the effective and emotional choral sections but would be unimaginable without the wonderful solo arias and recitatives. With the help of the orchestra "Estro Armonico" and soloists Laureen Stoulig, Jeff Mack, Kenny Ferreira, and Franz Schilling, the vocal ensemble AMBITUS, under the direction of Roby Schiltz, will present this exceptional work at the Trifolion on March 29, 2025.
