Carving is fun. To ensure it goes well, we first learn the basic rules of carving and the correct use of the carving knife. For each piece, we find the appropriate wood from which we can carve tops, keychains, necklaces, dwarves, birds, hearts, sound blocks and much more. The program's content is adjusted to the children's age and abilities. Suitable children's carving knives with rounded tips and short blades, as well as gloves, are provided.
Good to know
Trainer: Marleen Item, nature and experience educator. Target audience: children aged 5 to 12 with parents or grandparents.
Price: free, donation requested.
