A chance to meet people and get a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes of the open-air exhibition.
In the run-up to the official opening of LUGA - Luxembourg Urban Garden, LUGA invites you to join us for a picnic in the Parc municipal Édouard André, in the heart of the ephemeral urban gardens of the Fédération Horticole Luxembourgeoise (FHL).
The picnic will provide an opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition through a guided tour of the worksites in progress. You'll be able to explore the FHL's gardens under construction, the Exploratif located in the Fondation Pescatore, and the LUGA Culture Hub. The tour will also take in gardens in the making, such as the remarkable Roseraie Amélie, created by the Service Parcs de la Ville de Luxembourg in collaboration with the associations Lëtzebuerger Rousefrënn and Patrimoines Roses pour le Luxembourg, and Les Plantes du Luxembourg, a project by the Service Parcs and the Lycée Technique Agricole. The tour will end in the Alzette valley, where you will discover Solum by Atelier Faber and Après l'effondrement by Oupapo.
At the end of the tour, a convivial picnic will give you the opportunity to discuss and discover this ambitious project from a privileged angle and to savour local and seasonal products in an exceptional setting.
