Over two days, explore the universe of artist's books by discovering inspiring works and experimenting with two sewn binding techniques: the double notebook and the crossed binding. We will play with covers, materials, and finishes to bring unique creations to life. Bring your current projects and recycled papers to enrich this collective experience! Corinne Clarysse (1981 - lives in Charleroi, works in Charleroi, Brussels, and Liège) has been exploring books and archives for about twenty years. Her bookbinding practice oscillates between creating unique notebooks within the Broleskine collective and designing contemporary bindings for artists, photographers, and graphic designers. She teaches at various art schools and has a particular interest in self/micro-publishing, notably in co-organizing the Papier Carbone festival and in her editorial work at Actes Nord editions. She also works on the restoration of archives and manuscripts.
