Over two days, explore the world of artist's books by discovering inspiring works and experimenting with two sewn binding techniques: double booklet and cross binding. We will explore covers, materials, and finishes, bringing unique creations to life. Bring your ongoing projects and recycled papers to enrich this collective experience! Corinne Clarysse (born 1981 – lives in Charleroi, works in Charleroi, Brussels, and Liège) has been exploring books and archives for twenty years. Her binding practice ranges from creating unique notebooks within the Broleskine collective to designing contemporary bindings for artists, photographers, and graphic designers. She has a special interest in self/micro-publishing, co-organizing the Papier Carbone festival, and working editorially at Actes Nord éditions. She also works on restoring archives and manuscripts.
