This exhibition presents works by fifteen artists whose sculpture practice emphasizes the materiality of their pieces. The selected artworks delve into cultural, social, and political stories, reflecting collective and individual memories. Works span from 19th-century metallic architecture to 1970-1980s women’s rights and environmental preservation movements in the U.S. A dialogue emerges between Mudam's existing collection and recently acquired artworks, made possible by the Cercle des collectionneurs’ support, enhancing the collection's representation of female artists.
