During this course, which combines observations of the sky and the Sun with experiments, the child will learn to use a sky map, binoculars, an astronomical telescope or a telescope, will be able to differentiate between stars and planets and recognize the phases of the Moon.
At the end of this course, your child will have acquired the essential knowledge enabling them to become independent, to put themselves in situations both in terms of practice and the use of an astronomy instrument and in terms of location and learning to discover the sky.
A logbook will be given to him at the start of the training to monitor his progress and, at the end of the course, a “Little Ourse” diploma will be given to him after the assessment carried out with his facilitator.
The child will become a perfect “Budding Astronomer”.
