One of them is cheeky, the other is broad, and both are very funny.
Following their debut at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe, international comedian Nadine Froughi and two-time Funny Women semi-finalist Emily Higgson are bringing their powerful stand-up act on tour.
Integrating character, sketch and song, “Mouthy Broads” offers a new approach to the stand-up format that dominates the European comedy scene.
Tickets cost €20 in advance and €25 on the door.
About the artists
Emily Higgson is an American stand-up and sketch comedian with a knack for transforming everyday strangeness into stage strangeness. A featured performer at Boom Chicago and a two-time Funny Women Award semi-finalist, Emily is a fixture on the European comedy scene. Her friends describe her as "pretty funny" and "average height." Emily describes herself as "extremely funny" and "very tall."

Nadine Froughi is a stand-up comedian. Half Iranian, half American, raised in the UK but now mostly Dutch, her comedy combines stand-up, music, and visuals for a comedic experience her mother describes as "fabulous." A featured artist on NTR's Ramadan Bites and a two-time finalist for the English Comedy Talent Award, Nadine lives in Amsterdam. Besides telling jokes, she makes excellent shallot pasta and can lift over 100 kg on a good day.

This event is organized in collaboration with the Festrogen Festival, a platform that aims to inspire and support women in comedy while leveling the playing field for artists from underrepresented groups.
