This workshop invites you to explore not only oil painting, but also the question of emptiness.
Through compositions of uncolored spaces, the importance of emptiness, as well as its relationship to pattern, will be explored. This questioning is also present in many of the works of artist Jean-Pierre Beckius.
In the first step, participants prepare a sketch, which will then be partially covered with a composition of adhesive tape.
Then the painting work begins!
Finally, the tape will be removed, and the vacuum effect will unfold its full force.
