Urban nature sketching: Exploring outdoor environments with a sketchbook.
This workshop series invites participants of all ages to explore local flora and fauna with pen and paper.

From wildflowers to nocturnal animals and birds, biodiversity is all around us, even in urban settings. How can we better recognize and protect it in the future?

Led by the museum team and artist Vivi, participants will hone their perception by translating their observations and questions into illustrations.

It's not about making perfect drawings but about attentive observations and reconnecting with nature. In sketching, there are no right or wrong answers—only genuine curiosities. Stay curious!

With: Vivi Vo Le

Vivi Vo Le is a media designer and artist deeply passionate about nature, especially birds. With her sketchbook and binoculars, she captures her natural environment through vivid drawings. For Vivi, drawing is a means of fostering curiosity and developing a greater awareness of our ecosystem through careful observation of its unique forms, colors, and traits.
