Benoît Martiny, Murat Öztürk, and Laurent Payfert form an original trio. It emerged from a desire to bring together three very distinct artistic personalities, aiming to shake up norms, reverse roles, and create unique sounds from the realms of these three musician-composers. The trio's original compositions stem from their intersecting influences - encompassing contemporary jazz to explorations in more eclectic fields such as contemporary music, world rhythms, and rock. A true sonic journey, where each piece unfolds as a new improvised adventure, fueled by mutual responsiveness and collective energy. This performance promises a unique moment, with creativity and emotion at the core. The music was crafted following a residency at CCRD opderschmelz.
