Dressed in modesty, humor and fabulous visual discoveries, this autobiographical show recounts the childhood of Agnès Limbos: life in a small Belgian parish, the absence of parents who remained in the Congo, and letters from her father . Long-awaited letters at the time which challenge him today in what they say about the paternalism and racism contained in the missionary spirit. A dialogue then begins between little Agnès aged 8, represented by a puppet, and big Agnès. Against the backdrop of sometimes chilling archives, the two find together, despite the discomfort felt by the post-colonial generation, the path to a peaceful family memory.
