Sicily, in the early 2000s. After several years in prison for collusion with the mafia, seasoned politician Catello has lost everything. When the Italian secret service asks for his help in capturing his godson Matteo, the last mafia boss on the run, Catello seizes the opportunity to get back on track. A cunning man with a hundred masks, a tireless illusionist who transforms truth into lies and lies into truth, Catello begins an improbable and singular correspondence with the fugitive, seeking to take advantage of his emotional emptiness. A gamble that, with one of the world's most wanted criminals, carries a certain risk...
