We were promised a magical setting and a leap in time, and guess what… It was awesome !
It was just as magical for the kids as it was for the Happy Team (you know us, we are grown-up children ... very nice 😇)!
This year's theme for the Nuit de la Culture was "Land and Memory" and we had a great time going back to the days of the steel industry and work in the mines.
6 p.m. sharp - Covid-Check validated - on the beautiful site of Ellergroon in the middle of the forest and treading the red soil of the region, we were already in the starting blocks to discover this cool festival! (Our superMathilde even activated her 4x4 and muscles mode to sneak around with the stroller of her little boy).
Fairy lights everywhere in the trees, lots of food-trucks, artistic installations and works of art in the woods, a live music group, a big campfire to warm up… everything was gathered to be transported.
And guess what, we were close to put on a green suit to take part in the great participative work "Belle Racine" and try to find our root soul mate.

OUR FAVOURITES ❤️ :
- The super fair by Compagnie La Machine : flaming catapults, a chocolate & marshmallow fondue with fishing rods, a fun game with forks to win sweets with a very special and excited chicken, a shooting game in a fireworks version, ... all in an extraorinary setting supervised by animators on fire 🔥! An unusual moment that enchanted us.
- The OsmOse trail: a sensory and balancing course at the edge of the wood, illuminated by garlands of all colours. We got into the game of climbing everywhere and trying to go as fast as superLouis (be careful, it tickles your feet if you really play the game of going barefoot).
- Gauguin's tortoise by Luc Amoros' Company: perched on a giant metal structure, to the rhythm of the music and the bewitching text of a storyteller, a ballet of artists began to paint a giant fresco live. A moment filled with poetry!
Not yet convinced, watch this little video, you'll love it! Look ⬇️

In short, a supermoment for young and old!
(PS: little memo, remember to take a jumper because the nights are cold in Luxembourg in September 🧊)
