One of the greatest assets of the Grand Duchy is probably its multicultural side and the close links it forges with its neighbouring countries (and by the way, aren't you yourself a valiant border worker, or happy expat? 😊).
With the Freigeister exhibition, you will see that even in such a small country, this diversity is a real source of inspiration and openness for artists who take a critical, committed, offbeat, poetic and sensitive look at our contemporary society (and as Mr F. Nietzsche said, they act as "free spirits").

An exhibition like no other
Do you know what makes this exhibition special?
It was conceived in a collaborative and collective manner, with the artists themselves, but also researchers, writers, association leaders... who met for several days to discuss and reflect on themes such as migration, languages, living together, commonalities or territory, key themes in Luxembourg. These meetings obviously helped to nourish the artistic research and are reflected in the works, most of which were produced especially for the exhibition. 🙌
