We're sure they'll be captivated by the life-size silhouettes hidden in the Schumannseck Remembrance Trail (LU), the living reconstructions of the daily life of the Poilus in the Chattancourt Trench (FR), the amazing 3D experience with Nota Bene and the Easy Company in the Bois Jacques in Bastogne (BE) or happy to spend an unusual night where the soldiers stayed in 1914 at the Fort Lantin (BE).
With this cross-border trip you will also have the chance to be in the middle of nature and to cross preserved natural spaces. A great combo to combine hiking and swimming vacations with cultural tourism.

"Marcel was 7 years old when the war started. In 1944, his farm was transformed into a large bivouac where 110 American soldiers were housed... "
This story sounds like the script of a historical movie, but... it is real!
In this authentic museum, which he opened with his wife Mathilde, Marcel Schmetz pays tribute to the Americans. Everything on display is the fruit of his childhood memories, those left by the soldiers and his numerous contacts with American survivors.
