On the occasion of its 41st anniversary, the Kulturfabrik invites you to an evening that highlights the mythical foundation of Kufa as well as the founding myths derived from its history. The evening will include a guided tour of the installation of the Bande Passante Company and the screening of the docufiction film by the Eddi Van Tsui Company, two creations specially made for the anniversary of the Kulturfabrik, followed by a round table on the theme: "Fiction, friction, self-mockery: 41 years of real facts and imaginaries".

Guided tour of the immersive installation by Compagnie Bande Passante. This artistic installation traces the rich history of the Kulturfabrik through paper archives.

8:00 p.m.

At 8:00 pm, the docufiction film by the Eddi Van Tsui company will be shown at the Kinosch, a film based on videos and photos from the last 41 years of the Kulturfabrik, and on interviews with the historian Mohamed Hamdi. The artists of the Eddi Van Tsui company have diverted these historical facts to propose an alternative narrative.

Roundtable moderated by Michel Delage, journalist at radio 100.7. Participants include Sandy Flinto of the Eddi Van Tsui company, Tommy Laszlo of the Bande Passante company and Mohamed Hamdi, a historian working on a historical book on the Kulturfabrik. Discussions will focus on themes addressed in artistic works, offering an academic and artistic perspective on the creation of cultural identity and the preservation of archives.
