Arnaud Hussenot takes us on the paths of the woods… and quickly lets go of our hand, leaving it to our imaginations to wander through his phantasmagorical landscapes. Photography is only a pretext here. Besides, are we really sure that this is not painting, engraving?
The artist plays here with matter and forms, sometimes flirting with abstraction to evoke a plant world – the forest –, source of all emotions, and invites us to lose ourselves there, as in a tale.
