While researching a new drug, Dr. Jack Griffin discovers a potion that can make him invisible. When he reveals his newfound ability to his former mentor and his fiancée, it becomes clear that a side effect of the potion is insanity. Jack then goes on a violent crime spree, while the police struggle to stop him, unable to see his target, while his mentor and former partner desperately try to devise a plan to capture him.
