The world could be quite different. But what does it mean to navigate between alternatives and parallel worlds? Genres like science fiction, fantasy, New Weird and speculative fiction offer various answers to this question.

A literary anthology is inspired by this. Four German-speaking authors (Emma Braslavsky (D), Anja Kümmel (D), Benjamin von Wyl (CH), Luc François (L)) will explore Luxembourg from 21 to 25 October. They are looking for stories in the genres mentioned, and must also integrate references to Luxembourg into their texts.

On October 24, their final evening of the tour, they will gather at the Kasematt Theatre for a workshop discussion in front of the audience. The event will be moderated by Samuel Hamen, who initiated the project.

During the discussion, the authors will share their impressions from the previous days and discuss their ideas and writing. What is possible outside of this unique reality that supposedly dictates how people in Luxembourg should think and live?
