A mother bear loses her cub after escaping from wolves. The father bear then decides to steal a human baby to compensate for his grief. Initially inconsolable, she eventually decides to raise him as a real little bear. On their side, humans are willing to do anything to find their son... The universe of the story, between ice floes and northern lights, calls for great visual softness: traditional animation with pencil and brush, its rounded graphic style, the thick and sharp lines of the characters blend perfectly into a watercolor-painted setting. The grain of the cardboard paper is sometimes perceptible. The warm colors of the watercolor warm up the snow of the ice floe, adding a poetic touch to this beautiful film. A story tinged with magic, defending family values and differences, inviting young viewers on a visual and cultural journey; to escape alongside this little bear-child in the midst of magnificent snowy landscapes...
