"Crazy Quarantine" for not going mad in containment
Initiatives are multiplying so that culture in Luxembourg can continue to live despite confinement. This is how the musicians Pit Dahm and Pol Belardi created the “Crazy Quarantine Sessions”.
While the cultural industry is facing the crisis and the measures taken to fight Covid-19 have led to the lockdown of the population, new forms of cultural events are taking shape on the internet. In Luxembourg, Serge Tonnar was the first to react, immediately after the closure of concert halls and theaters (read our March 17 edition) , but other initiatives have since emerged, such as the one led by musicians Pit Dahm and Pol Belardi. Under the name of "Crazy Quarantine Sessions", the "jazzmen" offer musicians from the Grand Duchy of all backgrounds to record a session of twenty to thirty minutes, then broadcast live on their Facebook page, then available afterwards. on their YouTube channel.
"The videos are recorded before because we collaborate remotely, and it's not possible to have everyone at the same time," explains Pit Dahm.
