Since its inception in 2007, this biennial symposium aims to bring the art of sculpture closer to the public, transforming public spaces into open-air galleries. Every two years, Differdange celebrates creativity by inviting artists to design sculptures that enrich the city's cultural heritage. Each edition explores a new theme and a different material, ensuring an ever-renewed artistic experience. In 2025, for its 10th edition, the symposium will have 'Queen of Stone' as a theme, showcasing the Belgian blue stone. Over 12 days, artists will work outdoors, offering visitors the unique opportunity to witness the creation of impressive sculptures right before their eyes.
