ARCbrëll? It's just a simple play on words, combining the names ARC, Abrëll (= April), and Brëll (= glasses). In April 2016, ARC was first presented at the Maison de la Culture in Diekirch. Title and theme? ARCbrëll! The association had invited its members to create artworks around the theme of "glasses." Pleased with the results of this exhibition, ARC returned to the venue three years later, in 2019, then again in 2022, and is coming back now in April 2025 for the 4th edition: ARCbrëll 4. It's a matter of keeping certain traditions. And to avoid only seeing glasses, the subject is still not mandated. Note that for its 65th birthday, celebrated in October 2024, ARC will present to the public a catalog of more than 300 pages, featuring among other things, the journey of its 76 members, in images and texts.
