Two piano stars in the mazurkas of Frédéric Chopin. Grigory Sokolov in December 2024 and Lang Lang in April 2025 consecutively devote themselves to these pieces, both confronting them with a piano cycle by Robert Schumann. Lang Lang has chosen the Kreisleriana, a set full of ambition in terms of playing technique and expression. Among the eight movement titles, the word 'very' appears six times and even 'extremely' once.
