Thematic visit: Queer-Lens
Join us for a special guided tour of the permanent exhibition, which invites you to experience classic works through a queer lens. Explore hidden histories and new interpretations of works from the 17th to the 19th centuries, revisiting portraits, genre scenes, and landscapes with an inclusive lens. While our collection does not explicitly feature artists recognized as queer today, these works can be appreciated from a variety of perspectives, revealing new dimensions of identity, beauty, and connection.
Among our highlights you will find creations from the Dutch Golden Age, Italian landscapes and French masterpieces by Jan Brueghel the Younger, Canaletto and Eugène Delacroix. Through this queer lens, each work invites us to reflect on and celebrate the diversity of self-expression.
Take part in this tour to discover the history of art from an inclusive and renewed perspective.
