Nemeček is a Croatian etno noise-rock band crafting an intense, otherworldly soundscape by merging traditional folk elements with experimental rock. Led by multi-instrumentalist Vedran Živković, the band combines the ancient sounds of the tambura, a traditional Croatian instrument, with the heavy pulse of krautrock, experimental rock, and noise.

Imagine a road trip through the eternal, fog-covered flatlands of Pannonia, where the past lingers in the mist and headlights carve through the dark. Recent tours across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary have further established them as one of Croatia’s most boundary-pushing musical acts. Nemeček is also the first ever Croatian band to win the “Milan Mladenović” award for the best song (“Mirila” from the latest album Prokletije II) in the region in 2024.
