The young Nordvox choir from the Conservatoire du Nord presents its new program: LUX.
Light is the source of many life processes. As energy, it provides the Earth with the forces necessary for growth and change. But light is more than energy – it is also a wave, a vibration. Similarly, music is a vibration – a movement of air that touches the life within us. The programme includes works that reflect the theme of light in all its depth, including Eric Whitacre’s “Lux Aurumque”, Morten Lauridsen’s “O nata lux” and Edvard Grieg’s “Ave maris stella”.
